2020 Festival Miscellaneous Information

MISCELLANEOUS FESTIVAL INFO

1Thursday Night, Feb. 20th…             A Pre-Festival Jam with a light dinner provided by Southern Strings.  This JAM session & trimmings will kickoff our Festival.

  **Registration will begin as early as 5:30 p.m. with the Jam beginning at 6:00 p.m.  This will be held in the Calvary Baptist Church Family Life Center and can be accessed on the West side of the Church building.

WE WILL HAVE A SOUTHERN STRINGS BANNER HANGING OUTSIDE SO YOU WON’T MISS US!

2-Friday Morning. Feb. 21st… Registration will open at 7:45   Workshops begin at 8:30 sharp.

3- Friday Night ‘ROARING 20’s” Dinner …        (additional cost of $16.00 as indicated on your registration form) ****Following our delicious & fun Dinner, we will play ” Bingo” with prizes given to the winners. **NOTE… you need to be pre-registered in order to be assured of a dinner seat as we have to turn in a count prior to the festival.**

4- McSpadden Dulcimer Raffle… Southern Strings will be Raffling a brand new McSpadden Dulcimer.  You may purchase your chance to win this wonderful instrument on location or on your Registration Form.  Cost is $5.00 per chance or 5 chances for $20.00.   Purchased tickets will be placed in your registration packet and you will receive them upon arrival to the festival.

5- Friday Night Open Stage Concert will be open to festival participants who want to play on stage.  So get with your club or a couple of friends and get to practicing.  (Participants are limited to two on-stage performances only.)  You may register for this at the registration table at the Festival.

6- Saturday, Feb. 22nd…. Registration will open at 7:45  with Workshops through the morning and “Deep South Dulcimer Championship” in the afternoon.  (see schedule for details)
